Thorne Dreyer's guest is Mariann Garner-Wizard -- now Mariann Wizard Vasquez -- one of the originators of The Rag's print version and an early contributor to/supporter of The Rag Blog, who has "abandoned Babylon for the considerable charms of a dreadlock Rastaman" in Belize, and is in the process of going Native, while stubbornly maintaining her Wizardly ways. Mariann's new book of poetry -- Tempted to Tell All -- is a "joyous, subversive, prophetic, funny, angry, romantic memoir in verse."
"The poems burn with the heat of an activists' broken yet still-smoldering heart as she tells it straight about America's current tragedy... she never allows herself, or us, to escape her clear-eyed vision...Tempted to Tell All, though brilliantly rooted in the mundane, pulls us all a bit closer to the mystical." -- Novelist Sarah BirdPhoto above: Mariann Garner-Wizard, left, and Rag Radio host Thorne Dreyer.
